Treatment of severe multiple soft tissue injuries of the limbs: a case report

Ummary : This article is devoted to the clinical case of 81 years old lady with extensive ragged, scalped-crushed wounds of the upper and lower extremities. She was treated with autodermoplasty using free perforated flaps technique followed the negative pressure wound treatment (NPWT) vacuum dressing, combined antibiotic therapy with quinolones (II gen), cephalosporins (I gen) and carbapenems, as well as antimycotics medications. The avoidance of infectious complications, the retention of structures and very good functional outcome were achieved as the result of performed treatment.
