The article presents results of screening the population of working age Ulyanovsk: was revealed the prevalence of acute and chronic cerebrovascular disease; was observed increase in the prevalence of all forms of cerebrovascular disease with age, the most common are early chronic vascular disease of the brain. Were discovered the differences on the prevalence of certain forms of cerebrovascular disease in men and women: in females are more frequently hypertensive cerebral crises. Was evaluated the prevalence of risk factors of cerebrovascular diseases, were identified the patterns of superior occurrence of the modifiable risk factors for age, sex, education, employment. Were recommended activities aimed at improving of epidemiological situation related with researched diseases.
