This study analyzed clinical and laboratory data in children with appendiceal peritonitis. The authors assessed common symptoms of this disease, such as abdominal pain, vomiting, fever, as well as laboratory test results, including white blood cell levels, C-reactive protein, procalcitonin, and others. The results showed that certain clinical symptoms and laboratory parameters can help in the early diagnosis and treatment of this condition in children, thereby preventing serious complications. Thus, the results obtained may be useful for improving diagnosis and optimizing treatment approaches for appendiceal peritonitis in children.
