Clinical morphological characteristics of ulcerative-necrotizing stomatitis under conditions of cytostatic therapy for acute leukemia

Clinical morphological assessment of ulcerative necrotizing stomatitis showed disorders in the process of epithelial cell differentiation, in oral cavity microbiocenosis, non-specific resistance and sharp reduction in the level of secretory IgA in patients with acute leukemia under conditions of cytostatic treatment. Severity and duration of stomatitis were found to correlate with the depth and length of the agranulocytosis phase.
