Clinical and morphological aspects of uterine scar after cesarean section

The analysis of 7834 histories of delivery from the archive of the Perinatal center of the Republican hospital №1, Ministry of Health, the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) for 2001 - 2005 years was carried out. There were studied the frequency of indication to operative delivery and the techniques of cesarean section. Histologic research of 23 postoperative uterine scar, excised during the planed repeated cesarean section, was carried out. The tendency of growth of operative delivery, caused by essential expansion of indications to operation in interests of fetus, is noted. In structure of indications to cesarean section uterine scar takes the first place. The time interval after cesarean section has defining value for maturing a connective tissue and formation of scar of full value.
