Key aspects of evaluating the effectiveness of the introduction of breeding achievements of seed peas

Breeding achievements are an affordable and economically justified means of increasing yields. For each hundredweight of increase in the average yield of pea grain in our country, it is possible to receive an additional 150 thousand tons of gross grain harvest per year, which in monetary terms amounts to 2.4...2.7 billion rubles. Currently, the Federal Research Center of the ZBC is actively working on the creation of varieties and one of the leading positions in this direction is occupied by peas. Varieties of peas for food, fodder, and technical purposes have been created. A new baleen-leaved morphotype has appeared, the varieties of which, Spartak, Jaguar, have a productivity of over 6.5 t /ha combined with high manufacturability and quality. New breeding achievements are an economic guarantor of the food security of our country.
