Key aspects of deterioration relations between Turkey and the EU

This article analyzes the main causes a significant deterioration of relations between Turkey and the European Union in 2015, the arguments of the parties and tendencies of development in the context of a crisis in relations. In 2015 one of the main factors of tension in relations between Turkey and the EU is the immigration crisis in Europe, to which Turkey on the rights of the regulator of the flow of refugees to the EU countries, tried to use with the aim of obtaining political benefits. That has led to mutual criticism. Contributed to the cooling of relations between activities in Turkey. After the coup attempt in the summer of 2016, around the country, a wave of arrests of government officials, the military, journalists, etc. On that EU countries could not pay attention, unleashed criticism on the Turkish leadership. The article also analyzes the strongest tensions in March 2017. The reason of which was the results of the referendum on 16 April 2017, when a number of EU countries refused to hold rallies in support of the referendum in Turkey's ruling party. In spite of differences and recriminations, not one of the parties moved to take decisive action that would end the Turkish-European relations.
