The key barriers to effective work of teachers: based on sociological research data

Based on the results of Russian researches studying such a social group as teachers and the data obtained during the sociological survey conducted by Tyumen State University in 2015, the article identifies the main obstacles hindering effective work of teachers. The authors conclude that the identification of difficulties that affect negatively the work of schoolteachers is relevant and requires real actions to eliminate them. Therefore, educational institutions need to take measures supporting teachers ' time management skills and their selfeducation, to carry out workshops focusing on experience exchange with colleagues, to supervise young teachers' work.
