Key features of youth that determine behavior in the labor market

The article is devoted to identifying the characteristics of young people, which to the greatest extent affect their interests, determine the labor strategies and behavior patterns of this generation in the labor market. These properties include territorial and professional mobility, high adaptability, digital literacy and knowledge of information technology, extreme consciousness and behavior, infantilism, and a tendency to hedonism. These features are characteristic of the majority of people aged 14 to 35 years, despite the high degree of differentiation of the younger generation. It is the identified features that determine the greater opportunities for choosing a place of work, a higher rate of adaptation both in the organization and to the work function itself, the use of certain patterns of behavior in work, the implementation of business communications and the nature of communication, the discrepancy between labor expectations and reality.
