The article considers the policy the Bolsheviks and the Soviet government in villages in the 1920s, the beginning of the 1930s of XX century. The thorough analysis of change of labour relations in the rural economy during collectivization and industrialization period has been given. The process of agrarian transformations in the country, aimed at transforming the peasant world into the part of the state system and putting of the agricultural production under the control bureaucrat`s device has been considered. The opposition between the peasants and the pressure of Bolsheviks, social and property stratification in villages, struggle of interests of various social groups has been shown.
