The book as a character of dystopian plots of the 20th century

In the article the conception of the book as a character in dystopian texts of the 20 th century is being considered. Like any character a book embodies this or that conception, idea, information and takes part in plot development of the work. The book also represents the main method of informational-ideological characteristic of utopian character. The conception of a book in dystopia is interpreted as the base for formation of parallel (virtual) reality in the awareness of society.
