Book culture in the conditions of war: problems of recreating history and using educational potential

The article substantiates the need for a generalizing interdisciplinary study of book culture during the Great Patriotic War on the basis of numerous developments and publications on the study of cultural history, book and library science of the war years, reading practices at the front and in the rear, and the peculiarities of the book's existence in everyday military life. Their educational potential is in demand in modern conditions for the formation of public consciousness that meets modern military and political realities.
