When does the future come? Images of the future of Russia of the second half of the 20th century

The article is devoted to the image of the future as an integral picture of possible worlds, which is reflected the vision of the prospects of the development of the country by Soviet citizens of the post-war period. The analysis of various sources, from documents of the Communist Party and the Soviet government to literary works and cartoons, allows the author to identify and reconstruct the communist image of the future and to establish the identity of his temporary localization.
