Cognitive and communicative analysis and evaluation of students’ free-form answers

This paper represents the way Karaulov’s ideographic method (extended by application of graph theory) can be used for quantitative and qualitative evaluation of students’ professional knowledge. The paper shows a reference graph (which represents the lexical-semantic structure of the subject field called «Pelvis injuries») as well as parameters of quantitative and qualitative evaluation of students’ professional knowledge. These parameters are used for cognitive and communicative anaysis and evaluation of students’ free-form answers.
