Бесплатный доступ

The article sets the task of identifying the features of empathy (cognitive, emotional, behavioral components) in children 5-6 years old with the status of «Delayed mental development» and children without this status. As a result of the analysis, the hypothesis that children with status have a worse understanding of the emotions of other people is refuted, in contrast to children without status. Based on the analysis of the methods performed: «Plot pictures» and «Unfinished stories», it is determined that children with status have limitations in the development of the emotional sphere (emotional component of empathy), as well as difficulties in providing active assistance and support to another person (behavioral component of empathy).
