Seebeck coefficient of electrolyte mixture of sodium hydroxide-potassium iodide

Бесплатный доступ

An experimental study of the thermoelectric EMF of an aqueous mixture of electrolytes of sodium hydroxide and potassium iodide is carried out. A serial measurement of the indicated value was carried out for a fixed concentration of sodium hydroxide and various concentrations of potassium iodide. The results obtained indicate that the decisive contribution to the thermoEMF value of the mixture under study is made by the electrolyte, which has a greater Seebeck coefficient.
