Hesitation, intention and abandoning in human life and their lexical expression in Russian

The paper discusses the semantic properties of verbs and other words with the sense of doubt, intention and abandoning. These three classes of verbs mean intentional activities preceding starting action or non-action. The paper describes the semantic and syntactic properties of these three classes of verbs.
