Aircraft wing oscillations under conditions associated with different damping coefficient

The article presents a review of studies and mathematical descriptions of aircraft wing oscillations, with a particular focus on the influence of different damping coefficients. A differential equation is used to describe the short-variable motion of the aircraft and the dependence of the solution on the value of the damping coefficient. The relationship between the damping characteristics is examined. It is found that there is a discrepancy between the theoretical and experimental data on the values of yaw and roll coefficients and the theoretically predicted ones depending on the angle of attack, which indicates the need for further research and the identification of dependencies.
