Quantitative and qualitative changes in apple fruits under the influence of foliar spraying of trees with the preparation "Aquarin"

The article presents studies on the effect of foliar spraying of apple trees with the preparation Aquarin on the average fruit weight, as well as on the biochemical composition of apples. The experiment was laid in a fruitful garden planted in 1987, well grown root stock - seedlings of cultivated varieties. The object of the study is an apple-tree of varieties Antonovka Obyknovennaya and Sinap Orlovskij. The soil of the experimental plot is ordinary chernozem. The humus content is 5.34%; pH - 5.87; the content of mobile phosphorus is 124 mg / kg; exchangeable potassium 131 mg / kg. Options: 1. Without fertilization; 2. Aquarin 0.5%; 3. Aquarin 1.0%; 4. Aquarin 1.5%; 5. Aquarin 0.5% + Boron 0.1%; 6. Aquarin 1.0% + Boron 0.1%; 7. Aquarin 1.5% + Boron 0.1%. Our studies have shown that spraying with the preparation at the concentration of 1.0 and 1.5% increased fruit weight by 6.4 and 7.5 g, respectively. Treatment with Aquarin in the indicated concentrations together with boron 0.1% increased the fruit weight by 8.1 and 8.2% against the control variant. The similar results were obtained for the variety Sinap Orlovskij. On average, over three years, the fruit weight was 121.8 g when treated with Aquarin at the concentration of 1.0% and 126.1 g at the concentration of 1.5%, which is 3.9-4.5% more than in the control variant. In a harvest failure year, foliar feeding does not affect the fruit weight. Foliar feeding of the apple tree positively influenced not only an increase in the mass of the average fruit, but also an increase in biologically active substances. Regardless of the yield of trees, the use of the preparation Aquarin and boric acid increased the content of biologically active substances in the fruits of the varieties Antonovka Obyknovennaya and Sinap Orlovskij. The optimal dose of foliar feeding of apple trees is Aquarin 1.0% + Boron 0.1%.
