The current trends in the application of methods of quantitative research in legal sciences, including criminal legal sciences, are considered. New methodological approaches to conducting quantitative research of interdisciplinary relations in the field of criminal law sciences, based on the use of matrix theory and set theory, are proposed. The object of research was the relationship between the theory of operational-search activity and other sciences of the criminal-legal cycle, namely: one-way connections, manifested in the influence on the theory of operational-search activity of the content of other criminal law sciences partially borrowed by it.
