Collectivization in Udmurtia (Votskaya oblast) and Kirov oblast (Vyatka province) in 1930-1933

The article is devoted to the collectivization process in 1930 1933 - from the sharp change of its course by J. Stalin and up to the famine of 1933. During that period collective farm building went on rapidly and by the end of the period more than half of peasants became collective farmers. Collective farms began to suffer from increasing tax pressure. In spite of increased level of agriculture, peasants got small supply of food, which in the end resulted in the famine of 1933.
