The article deals with the problems of management relations in the subject of civil law. The possibility of the combination of the method of legal equality of the parties and public relations based on the power and submission is a controversial issue at present. A special case of the demonstration of management relations in civil law is the collective management of intellectual rights. The authors offer to look at the legal means providing this management in a consistent manner. One of the civil tools ordering this type of relations is the license contract with the organization for collective management of the intellectual rights. The paper considers only one of the most important elements of this system. An important scientific problem is also the balance between the management relations and the organizational civil relations. An open question is whether it is necessary to differentiate them, or it is necessary to correlate them as a part and the whole? Purpose: to create a scientific idea about the legal nature of collective management of the intellectual rights. Methods: as the main methods and approaches which were used in the article it is necessary to allocate the system approach, a method of legal modeling, a method of inter-industry researches. The authors also used theoretical methods of formal and dialectic logic and interpretation.
