The article characterizes common collective knowledge as an object of ethnopsy-cholinguistics and specifies its role and importance in modern cognitive sciences. The principal dimensions and characteristics of collective knowledge are identified; its model and forms are clarified. Analysis of common knowledge is based on the data of comparative association experiments
