The study reveals the concept of constitutional conflict, its nature and the main causes of its occurrence, including the multilevel structure of regulations, the imperfection of legislative technology and the dynamics of social change. Special attention is paid to the mechanisms for resolving constitutional conflicts, among which the principles of the supremacy of the Constitution, the application of the lex superior derogat legi inferiori rule, the role of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, the official interpretation of norms and legislative changes are highlighted.
