Japan's colonial policy of the XIXth -XXth centuries

The article examines the colonial policy of Japan in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, caused by the desire to expand its military and economic power through the colonization of Taiwan and Korea. The historical-comparative method was used in the analysis of the colonies. Using this method, the characteristic causes of Japanese colonialism were identified.
