Recently, there is an increasing need for cooperation and cooperation in the company. Many organizations are aimed at closer cooperation, the process of information exchange is becoming global. Business does not stand still and dictates new conditions. In this regard, in the era of the strongest global competition and the emergence of new technologies, it is the close-knit work of the personnel that brings the organizational and financial results of the organization. This article discusses the various approaches of the authors to the term “team”, identifies the distinctive features of the terms “team”, “group”, “team”. The main approaches of various authors to typologies of teams are identified, the distinguishing features of a team from a group are identified, the advantages and disadvantages of working in a team are given, the opinions of various authors about the size of a team are considered, and the problems of managing a team leader are identified.
