Combining ability of oil flax varieties in different breeding schemes and hybrid generations

As a result of the analysis of combining ability of oil flax varieties were extracted the samples with high combining ability. These samples consistently showed positive effects of GCA according to traits of seed production: AC McDuff (heads number per plant, seeds number per plant, TKW), LM-98 (heads number per plant, seeds number per plant), Lirina, Dakota (TKW) (scheme # 1); Maroccan sel (heads number per plant, seeds number per plant, TKW), Mikael, AC McDuff (TKW) (scheme # 2). AC McDuff variety showed high combining ability according to TKW trait in both different breeding and cultivation schemes and in hybrid generations F 1 and F 2.
