Combinatorial analysis for the study of Fourier spectral models in cattle leukemia

In the study of the prognosis of the infection development and manifestation of the bovine leukemia virus (BLV), the Fourier spectral analysis allows the modeling of a series with the periodic fluctuations peculiar to this infection, as confirmed by means of research in the Omsk Region. At the same time the mathematical model can be improved by means of combinatorial analysis, which allows the selection of combinations of the spectral indicators, thus possessing a greater forecast power. For this purpose a computer program that introduces the coefficients (amplitudes and phases) of the Fourier trigonometric polynomial has been created. The program generates all possible combinations, creates a database table with the final forecast figures for a number of years characterizing the dynamics of the BLV infection development and selects the best trends, which ultimately makes it possible to build a histogram of the spectral model harmonics frequency to assess their relevance...
