The article expands the understanding of the place and role of the Russian Communist Party (Bolsheviks), the Comintern and the USSR in the creation of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the formation of the main directions of its policy in the early 1920s. The author focuses on a number of directions, the study of which gives a more complete picture of the revolutionary process: the creation of the Third International, the significance of the Second Congress of the Comintern in the development of communist and national movements in the East, the holding of the first congress of the CPC, the role of the Comintern and the USSR in supporting national democratic revolution in China, the place of the Comintern in the reorganization of the National Party of China (Kuomintang) and in creation of the alliance between the CPC and Kuomintang.
