Commemorative practices of Soviet-Mongolian relations in the field of healthcare

As a part of the creation and development of the socialist state, the MPR used various types of commemorative practices. This article examines the creation of symbolic images in Soviet-Mongolian medical relations in the 20th century. The mechanisms of commemoration in the work are the creation of monuments to Soviet doctors, medical institutions, commemorative articles and monographs. Thanks to the constant reminder of the role of the Soviet Union in medical transfer and the visual glorification of Soviet doctors, the image of an international doctor-savior has developed in Mongolia, and it has not been seriously criticized in post-socialist Mongolia.
