Communication 2.0 in English language teaching

In the article is represented the view of the author on the urgency of studies in the field of application of Web 2.0 technologies in the contemporary education and the science and in the English language training. Interaction between the students and the teacher on this technological platform is considered as the renovated concept of computer-mediated communication, or as Communication 2.0. The experience of the developing of innovation by instructors and teachers realizes in the support of the professional interactivity of the Russian Communication Association and the Don Association of Teachers of English (DELTA). Assistance in the transition to the communicative method in language teaching is accomplished by the professional development courses for instructors and teachers of the Rostov region on the use of Web 2.0 technologies.
