The rules of the behavior of Old Believers is a dual phenomenon. On the one hand, they take root in moral standards and values of Orthodoxy and are organically connected with them, and on the other hand, they are manifested in the empirically observed forms of activity. This other side is a visible, empirically observed old moral norm, and it has remained in the rules of modern etiquette. The symbolism of the visible side of modern etiquette is revealed by Orthodox rites.
