Cheriatov. The authors of this article make assumptions based on art findings by T.N. Muntyan, a famous expert in the area. Those findings confirmed the uniqueness and the art value of the dipper. This work analysis has been carried out on the grounds of communicative potential of the given art piece. The authors examine the exhibit through the concepts, terms coined by a modern philosopher V.I. Zhukovskii. The novelty of the research is in its culturological approach to the artwork description and analysis, the main focus lies on establishing signposts that help to include the object in festive communication space. It's the festive communication space which reveals the genuine symbolic overview of decorative design and artistic form of an object. These two elements form the very core of the artist's sacred idea manifested in communication with a viewer.
