The article attempts to philosophical (ontological, dialectical) analysis of the synergetics basic principles: homeostatic or identity, hierarchy, nonlinearity, non-closure or openness, instability, dynamic hierarchy or emergence, observability, explicated from three major versions: laser physics models (H. Haken), Belgian school of dissipative processes (I. Prigogine), Russian school of nonlinear dynamics at the Institute for Applied Mathematics of the Russian Academy of Sciences (S. P. Kurdyumov). It is shown that synergetic principles while remaining a form of intrascientific reflection, in their philosophical foundations are entirely dependent on the level of philosophical methodology that creates a favourable ‘climate’ for their development, and the unlawful universalization of certain principles and concepts of synergetics leads to the discrediting of the latter. The methodological bases are the dialectic method, the method of comparative analysis, which is based on the ontology of the world. Also, the author of the article relied on the methods of scientific knowledge: analysis and synthesis, from abstract to concrete.
