The structure of trainers’ competence of creating positive social and psychological climate in sport team and the criteria of formation have been revealed. On this basis a methodology of a structure’s formation (that suggests three successive stages with the inclusion of the professionally-oriented situations) has been made known. The formative experiment has been conducted; the results prove effectiveness of a new coach preparation methodology.
