Competence approach to managing knowledge in institutions of higher education

The article considers the interconnection of two innovations appeared as the result of the transformation of social and economic situation in the society. That is the concept of knowledge management in institutions and the application of competent approach in education. The common ground for knowledge management and competent approach is implicit comprehension, as the most valuable component of personal awareness of a person.
