Competence-based approach in the system of personnel training for organizations rendering social service to citizens

The article presents results of studying the problems of implementation of competence-based approach in the system of personnel training for organizations rendering social services to citizens. In the course of study, the authors have carried out a structured interview with the teachers involved in the implementation of "Social Work" educational program, questionnaire of students majoring in this program. The paper considers the most promising areas of activities related to the implementation of the competence-based approach in training of future specialists of organizations rendering social services to citizens.
