Competence approach in higher education as a tool to mitigate managerial errors

The urgency of the competence approach in higher education is considered in this article. Critical thinking, as one of the basic competences, diminishes the risk of managerial errors, facilitating mitigation of the latter. Support of the competence approach in higher education is a kind of investment into the national economy.
