Competence portrait of a modern researcher in the VUCA world

In the context of the characteristics and conditions of the VUCA-world, a competence portrait of a modern researcher is considered. An analysis of the requirements for scientists in Russia, the European Union, Great Britain and a number of other countries is presented. The current competencies of researchers, which have not yet been reflected in the federal state educational standards in the areas of postgraduate study, have been determined. Proposals for improving the quality of training personnel for scientific work are substantiated, which meet the needs of society and the knowledge economy.
