The article provides a theoretical analysis of the effectiveness of using compilation methods of training persons who were first recruited to serve in the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation as a "Policeman" to master the professional training program. The influence of the applied methods in the context of adapting the educational process to the actual service, as well the formation of professional orientation of employees, is considered.
