The software complex "Expert" is described. The complex is intended for solution of problems of synthesis and analysis of spiral bevel gears. Software modules, which gives the possibility to carry out the calculation of the machine-tool settings, determine the contact pattern, bearing contact and the transmission error curve in case of the no-load and under load transmission, find the distribution of contact pressure and bending stresses on each phase of engagement; count machine-tool settings corrections on the basis of the measurement of lateral tooth surfaces of the wheels. All calculations can be carried out with account of technological errors.
