Computer simulation of evaluating the effectiveness of the business process of sales management in the conditions of digitalization of the regional economy

In the context of digitalization, research on the application of the process approach to the management of the region’s economy is becoming relevant. In this regard, it becomes appropriate to consider various types of economic activity as business processes, one of the most developing among which in the modern economy of the regions is recognized as the sphere of trade. In the article, the sphere of trade is considered as a business process, the digitalization of which is presented on the example of the sales management process of a trading enterprise in the Ivanovo region. The proposed computer model of sales management in a trade organization will allow you to calculate the equilibrium price based on the analysis of demand and price data, which will allow trading enterprises to make effective decisions in the field of pricing policy aimed at increasing profits. Practical calculations using this computer model have shown that the trade organization has real opportunities to increase sales and profits. The proposed model is recommended to be used as a tool for evaluating the business processes of sales management both at the level of an individual business entity and in the economy of the trade sector of the region as a whole. The practical application of the proposed computer model of sales management will allow us to determine strategic guidelines in the development of trade processes in the region’s economy and predict the probability of their achievement in the conditions of business digitalization.
