Computer test as a form of final knowledge control for the course “Personal Information Culture”

The paper justifies the validity of computer testing usage as the main form of final assessment in the academic discipline "Personal information culture". The mechanism of testing is considered, the content of the test questions is disclosed, and some shortcomings of this method are noted. To overcome them while conducting differentiated test in personal information culture, computer testing is combined with such forms of students' assessment as portfolio and a conversation on the course studied.
