Computer games in the development of older preschoolers

The article actualizes the problem of using computer games in the development of older preschoolers in the conditions of preschool educational organizations. The inclusion of computer games facilitates the solution of educational tasks, and also ensures the psychological readiness of children to work with modern technical devices. Currently, there are specialized narrowly focused portals that teachers of preschool educational organizations can use in their work on each individual educational area. Computer games contribute both to the formation and development of new knowledge, skills and abilities among preschoolers, as well as to the consolidation of knowledge and training of skills acquired during the entire educational process. Computer games are a means of developing a child of senior preschool age, as they: contribute to the achievement of the targets set by the educational program: the manifestation of initiative and independence in various activities, a positive attitude to the world, the ability to empathize, show their feelings, the development of imagination, the ability to follow rules and norms, express clearly their thoughts and desires; contribute to development of senior preschoolers in all five educational areas defined by the Federal State Educational Standard of Preschool Education.
