A set of indicators for evaluating the implementation of the Russian energy security strategy in the context of achieving the SDGS

. Ensuring the required level of energy security is one of the most important objectives not only for anyparticular state, but worldwide also. This article is devoted to the development of a set of indicators for evaluatingthe implementation of the Russian Federation (RF) energy security strategy in the context of implementing thesustainable development goals (SDGs). In the course of the study the balanced scorecard was used as a basicmethodology for developing a set of indicators to ensure energy security. This methodology has been adapted inaccordance with the goals and objectives of the Russian Federation energy security strategy and the concept ofsustainable development. Based on the analysis of indicators in terms of their relation to sustainable development goals, approaches ofother countries and the availability of statistical data, a set of indicators and a strategic map for the implementationof the Russian Federation energy security strategy in the context of achieving the sustainable development goalswere developed. The proposed strategic map and set of indicators will allow to monitor the implementation of thestrategy, as well as afford the decision-making in the context of achieving the sustainable development goals.
