Бесплатный доступ

The paper presents the study of the ceramic material from the AG basement in Tanais. The uniqueness of this assemblage resides in its composition as most of the vessels are red slip ceramics produced in various production centers. This paper contains a detailed analysis of these materials, providing new statistical data, typification, dating, description and scientific analytical data on the items. Based on the comprehensive analysis, the author tried to clarify the dating of this closed assemblage as well as partially reconstruct the Tanais system of trade and economic links at the end of the 2nd – early 3rd centuries AD.
