The complex of decisions necessary for the organization of work on a scientific problem in a team of teachers and students

The problem, around which a team of researchers is formed, is related to the geometry of polyhedra and does not require highly specialized knowledge. For several decades, it has resisted individual onslaught. On the other hand, there is the experience of the effective participation of the eleventh graders of Leningrad school N 239 in creating a proof of the theorem that classifies all regular-faced polyhedra, each of which is indecomposable by any plane to regular-faced sides. Today, Krasnoyarsk researchers use this ways to organize teamwork: geometric problem, algebraic modeling, computer modeling, prototyping, solution. It can be useful to specialists in other fields of knowledge, including humanities.
