The article presents a description of a complex with non-turret coin scales from the archaeological excavations of the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin in 2021. It comes from filling a pit in which, in addition to the scales, 15 medieval coins and a stone pectoral cross were found. Among the coins are silver money of the Grand Duke of Moscow Vasily Vasilyevich and Prince Daniil Borisovich of Nizhny Novgorod, copper puls of Russian coinage, coins of the Golden Horde. It is suggested that a certain number of Golden Horde dangs were present in local monetary circulation in the second half of the 20s of the XV century. The most probable dating of the complex: the second half of the 20s -early 30s of the XV century. It is characterized as the latest among the known medieval complexes of Nizhny Novgorod, formed in the last period of the reign of the last of the sovereign princes of Nizhny Novgorod. The materials described in the paper are of interest for studying Russian archaeology and the history of coin circulation during the formation of Moscow State.
