The complex of the 14th-15th century buildings in the settlement of Milsen

The article is devoted to the attribution and determination of constructive things of 16 objects dated by the 14th-15th centuries that found by the research of settlement Milsen (Kholmy) in 2010. The central place among them has underground pit from a ground frame-pillar building (object 9) from fence of which preserved pillars pits of the gate (objects 14a and 15a) and the path between them (object 12). Another 12 objects were utility pits of in general oval and rectangular shapes. Researched objects partially or completely destroyed objects from the ground burial dated by the 11th-13th centuries and situated on the same territory. In the underground pit of living building and in utility pits were found besides inventory from destroyed burials also whole ones and fragments of clay vessels from a pottery kilns dated by the time of function of the objects. The main part of them are 2 intact jugs and 61 fragments of pottery vessels produced in reduction atmosphere. The same vessels were found in the cities in the State of Teutonic Order (Alt-Wartenberg, Lobinicht, Elbing) and originate from German lands that as well as location of settlement on the territory of ground cemetery marks the changes in the culture of local population.
