The paper explores weaponry items originating from the area of a late medievalunfortified settlement known as Ignat’evo 2. The nature and the composition of the findssuggest that this is a weapon cache that was probably an arsenal of landed gentry of the16th century. The Ignat’evo 2 settlement is associated with a large historical village ofIgnat’evskoe owned by the Elizarov-Gusevs, which was a noble old Moscow boyar family
